CreateSpace Wolverhampton

CreateSpace Wolverhampton has been led by artists Anand Chhabra and Andrew Jackson working with Creative Producers Sam Hale and Kim Fuller. Photography has been used as a medium to engage with culturally diverse audiences, drawing on work in Wolverhampton Art Galleries exhibitions and collections as inspiration to support Libraries audience development work.

Sessions took place at Wolverhampton Central Library and with groups at the Bob Jones Centre. Anand engaged with participants to explore family photographs and work stories. Andrew worked with Creative producers Sam Hale and Kim Fuller to use photography, craft and writing tasks to explore themes of Home.

Anand Chhabra and Andrew Jackson are now reflecting on the changing rules of lockdown and the practicalities of working creatively in the current pandemic.
