The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing (APPGAHW) is collaborating with King’s College London on an Inquiry into Arts, Health and Wellbeing. The APPGAHW is led by Lord Howarth of Newport. Launched in November 2015, the Inquiry is supported by the National Alliance for Arts, Health and Wellbeing, which provides the Secretariat for the APPGAHW, Guy’s and St Thomas’ Charity and the Royal Society for Public Health Special Interest Group on Arts, Health and Wellbeing. The Inquiry is funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, the Wellcome Trust and the Arts and Humanities Research Council. These submissions were received in response to a call for practice examples that was made in the summer of 2016 and include Creative Health’s smokefree arts programme with Dudley Public Health.
